REPUBLIC Cup Yacht Races
- Hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, "REPUBLIC Cup Yacht Races" through the organization of Turkish Sailing Federation and Aegean Deep Sea Yacht Club were held in Izmir Marina on 28 – 29 October 2022.
- "Teka Joy Lemon" came first, "Goztepe Yelken Aganlar 1925" came second and "Quattro 4" came third in IRC Overall in the races held in honor of the 100th Anniversary of Izmir's Liberation and during 2 days.
- While IZDENIZ team, which competed with the boat named "Cakı", came in third place in the Destek 2 group and received its award from Izmir Marina Operations Manager Arda Erdogan, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Mustafa Özuslu presented a plaque to IZDENIZ A.S Chairman of the Board Osman Hakan Ersen for his contributions to the yacht race.
